Well today the kids are 9 weeks old and some will be going to their new homes this weekend so this is the last blog for the litter. Enjoy the pictures of your new babies and looking forward to seeing you all in the next couple of weeks.

8 weeks old
8 weeks old yesterday! Sorry there are a few pictures missing, I usually try to do 3 pics of each puppy but I must have not sent them all to my school addy to upload onto the blog. The pups get their 2nd shot and microchip on the 21st. You may want to talk to your vet about shot protocols. Some vets do not like to get single dose supplies and will want to insist on giving you a combination shot. The brand my vet uses is Merrill. This is the protocol my vet is suggesting. The distemper shot has been associated with the incidence of HOD in Weimeraner studies. It appears to be the shot to avoid during the teething and growth period of 3-6 months of age. pam
6 weeks - Distemper/Parvo
9 weeks - Distemper/Parvo
12 weeks - Parvo Only
15 weeks - Parvo Only and Nasal Bordatella for parainfluenza
no further shots until 5-6 months of age, then rabies.
6 weeks - Distemper/Parvo
9 weeks - Distemper/Parvo
12 weeks - Parvo Only
15 weeks - Parvo Only and Nasal Bordatella for parainfluenza
no further shots until 5-6 months of age, then rabies.

7 Weeks Old
Hard to believe they are this old all ready. As usual there were a couple that were not happy to stand, different ones each time, but you can see how they are changing.
