Well here they are at 6 weeks old. They are really starting to change now. They were supposed to go get their first shot today but with the winter storm we had to cancel. No sense driving and getting stuck with a van full of puppies!! It is rescheduled for next week.
Now is the time to start thinking about when your puppy gets to go home and begin puppy proofing an area for them. Remember they are just like having a toddler, into everything and everything goes in the mouth!! They are in an out of the crate and are very much paper trained, that is the bad part about having a winter litter, not much opportunity to get them outside, hopefully after this storm things will start to warm up and they can get out for short play times. Besides a crate, an exercise pen or a small room with a baby gate is a great place for the puppy to be when you can't watch them. The puppies are being fed Sensible Choice, Chicken and Rice Adult dog food. You can pick it up at PetCo or some pet stores. PetsMart doesn't carry it.
Hope you enjoy the pictures
